K-Swiss has a lot of new models that will be introduced in their 2012 line up. We give you a "first look" at what's coming.
It's no big secret that K-Swiss has taken the triathlon world by storm. It's also no big secret that we are big fans of K-Swiss at TriBomb. They make some of our favorite shoes and we use them daily in training as well as out on the race course. So needless to say, we are pretty fired up about the new K-Swiss lineup for 2012. We should have samples in a few weeks, but for now we thought we'd give you a first look at what's on tap for the new collection, including a few completely new models. Below is what you'll see on athletes at Kona in a just a few short days.
K-Swiss will have two lightweight minimalist shoes for 2012. One of our favorite all-around racing flats is the K-Ruuz and the new K-Ruuz 1.5 looks to be even better. This 6.5oz racing flat incorporates the Ion Mask water resistantancy and a SeamFree tech upper. If this upper is anything like what is on the current Kwicky Blade-Light we are already in love.

Women's K-Ruuz 1.5
A new shoe for 2012 the Blade Foot Run features a zero heel lift to help with a natural foot strike. The minimal upper uses air mesh to keep things cool. This minimalistic approach comes in a very light 8oz package and looks to have some pretty triathlete friendly features.
Men's Blade Foot Run
Women's Blade Foot Run
These shoes feature extremely lightweight cushioning (hence the name Blade-Light) along with the angled ‘Blade' sole. The Blades are designed to compress and collapse proportionately depending on the amount of force that is applied. The Blade-Light sole is designed to be responsive and super flexible.
Another new shoe for 2012 the QT2 is designed to get you out of T2 as quickly as possible with an integrated closure system. A shoe that also gets the Ion Mask water resistant technology and a SeamFree interior that should provide a comfy ride for going sans socks. We are eager to see how this shoe performs in person.
Men's Kwicky QT2
Women's Kwicky QT2
A 9oz shoe that has has grown on us quite a bit and trust us we have logged some serious miles in this shoe. This upper is the most comfortable that we have tested to date. The heat welded seam free design is the perfect solution for barefoot running. The Ion Mask water repellent upper not only resists water, but also stays clean much easier and much longer than a traditional upper.
Men's Kwicky Blade-Light
Women's Kwicky Blade-Light
A 9.3oz lightweight neutral trainer designed for efficient runners who log some serious mileage. A Flow Cool System equipped upper that sits atop the Blade-Light sole, should make an excellent choice for a lightweight daily use type of shoe.

Women's Blade-Light Run
As you can tell by the pictures, these shoes are the ultimate in cushioned running in the lineup. The beefed up sole features a bladed Superfoam to provide the maximum amount of comfort and shock absorption.
A 10oz neutral running shoe with GuideGlide midsole technology to provide an extra cushy, and stable ride.
Men's Blade-Max Glide
Women's Blade-Max Glide
A 10.5oz stability shoe that features a supportive upper and GuideGlide midsole technology providing the maximum in stability and control.
