It's that time of year again, time for our version of a Christmas wish list. Some are new products and some are products we've used that have become staff favorites. So whether you are looking for gift ideas for a deserving triathlete, or you are one, these products are all things we would like to see under our tree.
We keep testing new goggles...we keep coming back to these. The Aqua Sphere Kayenne is a definite TB favorite. Great visibility, as leakproof as any we've tried, and comfortable enough to wear for those extra long sessions in the pool. From the pool to the racecourse the Kayenne continues to impress. 2012 Sram RED
More tweaks and improvements than we can describe here, but the flagship gruppo from SRAM is a lighter, better shifting, more advanced version of itself. The new Red drivetrain isn't just a quick refresh of last year's gear, but a total redesign for optimal mechanical performance. SRAM lovers rejoice. Get a closer look here.
A TriBomb favorite for super cool & comfy casual clothing that pays homage to the endurance lifestyle without being cheesy. The designs are artistic and the materials are environmentally friendly. You'll certainly recognize the names of folks involved in EC. Tony and Tim DeBoom and Peter Reid are all involved in the "Conspiracy". We love this stuff and it's sure to be a hit with anyone who is interested in the multisport/endurance way of life.
Another TriBomb favorite, this gel has performed very well for us in a variety of conditions. Roctane combines a unique blend of amino acids, carbs, electrolytes, and caffeine which we found to be useful in high intensity type efforts. Roctane comes in a ton of flavors and is probably one of the most readily available on store shelves. You can check out our review here.
TRISWIM products are a great stocking stuffer for any athlete that spends a lot of time in chlorinated pools. TRISWIM neutralizes chlorine and the lovely smell that goes along with it, a feature your skin and hair will thank you for. Your spouse will also appreciate the fact that you don't smell like a swimming pool. You can see more here.
Traveling to races inevitably requires sleeping on "questionable" hotel sheets. Even in nice hotels, there's no telling where those things have been, or what's been done chemically to get them clean. The Sleep-Sax may just be your perfect travel companion. This giant sized sack is made of a super soft microfiber material that is breathable, stretchable, and moisture wicking. It's like having your own personal sleeping bag that is lightweight and super packable. You can check out our review here.
